Location: Often referred to as the capital of the north, Nampula is the center of business in northeastern Mozambique. It has many recently opened hotels, shopping malls and restaurants. It has a predominant role with agriculture, feeding the entire northern region of the country.
Agriculture: Cotton, tobacco, sisal, cassava, corn, peanuts, beans and sorghum predominate.
